First day of the weekend.

After a hectic week and saterday morning works..like doing laundry, iron and getting food in the house,I treated myself on a lazy relaxing moment. Changed clothes and went horizontal on the garden bed.

Normally i read or just close my eyes and dream a bit as u might know...im a dreamer..its allowed yes???

But now my eyes caught a plant in front of me. Loaded with butterflies. i took 20 pics, as a real photographer would do  haha

and this one i like the most.

i wanted a pic with more than one but then the butterflies were not that clear.

Dutch police charged a man with trying to attack the royal family Thursday after he crashed a car near a bus carrying Queen Beatrix and her family, police said.

The driver is in hospital, badly injured, she said. It was not clear if he was one of the 13 injured.

The police are not releasing the name of the driver whose car careered toward a crowd of people who were watching the Dutch royal family riding past in an open-top bus.

The crash happened during celebrations for Queen's Day, an annual holiday in the Netherlands.

Queen Beatrix was in the bus with her family when the black hatchback zoomed past. The crowds were behind barriers off the road, but security officials and journalists, including many cameramen, were in the road as the car went by.

Members of the royal family saw the crash and gasped, then quickly sat down as the bus continued driving.

The car crashed into the low metal railing around a column on the side of the road. The car appeared heavily damaged even before the crash, but the reason for that was unclear.

Queen's Day is a national holiday in the Netherlands, the Netherlands Antilles, and Aruba. The tradition started in 1885 and celebrates the birthday of the queen.

The end of Sri Lanka's 25-year civil war has been much predicted in recent months - not least by the government - but it seems the conflict may now finally be drawing to a close. The Sri Lankan army is now in control of the north and it's unlikely that Tamil Tiger leader, Velupillai Prabhakaran could escape at this late juncture. The government of President Mahinda Rajapaksa will want to capture the last vestiges of rebel territory as quickly as possible. But the rebels have proved on innumerable occasions that they have the capacity to strike at targets - often civilian ones - all over Sri Lanka. Around 70,000  cicilians have fled LTTE areas since January.  Now we are afraid for more deaths, and  the continuing  bloodshed, coz this cant stop without more pain. My friend pety wrote this poem abt the fight for a piece of land..

A call for peace

  The grass of the land tainted red
   Endless struggle innocent blood
   Cry of sorrow in the wind
   Shattered death their heart sinned

   Inch of land a battles cause
   pained death a loved ones loss
   bullets and bombs weapons to fight
   Bodies burn in pyre bright

   Machine guns in  children's arm
   revenge a fire burning strong
   Oh what would make them go
   Soon their lives be laid low

   Heroes of tis world found in grave
